Nourishment

Women's nutritional needs are unique — and they change throughout life. Here's how we think about nourishing women at three key phases.

Three phases, three approaches

Because what your body needs during training isn't what it needs during pregnancy — or during perimenopause. Here are the three life phases we think about most.

For active women

Active women need more than just extra calories — they need the right nutrients at the right time. Training depletes iron, zinc and B-vitamins faster than sedentary living. Recovery demands quality protein and anti-inflammatory foods. Energy needs to be steady, not spiked and crashed. Our approach focuses on nutrient-dense whole foods that support training, speed recovery, and sustain the energy that active women demand from their bodies every day.

The pregnancy journey

Each trimester brings different nutritional demands. First trimester nausea calls for gentle, easily digestible foods rich in folate and B6. The second trimester's rapid growth needs increased iron, calcium and omega-3s. The third trimester demands sustained energy and nutrients that support both mother and baby as you prepare for birth. Nourishment during pregnancy isn't just about eating more — it's about eating with intention, and that's what Trophi's approach is built around.

Peri & menopause

Perimenopause can begin years before menopause itself, bringing hormonal shifts that affect everything from sleep to mood to metabolism. The right food can make a real difference — phytoestrogen-rich plants, anti-inflammatory ingredients, foods that support bone density and heart health. This isn't about fighting a natural transition. It's about supporting your body through it with the nourishment it needs to thrive, not just survive.

A note about our frozen meal range

Our frozen meal range is currently on pause while we focus on fresh catering. We loved creating meals tailored to each of these life phases, and we haven't ruled out bringing them back in the future. Interested in being first to know when we return?
